LATEST MESSAGE FROM DARREN
hi there everyone Darren here, i just thought i would give ya an update
on things.
1 My latest cd (Fingerfall) is a collection, if you like, of
instrumental tunes i have composed over the last 3 to 4 years and also
interpretations of some other tunes of yesteryear. i have also spaced
in some contemplative loops
which you can hum pray and meditate to. i plan to utilize them in the
future (DV) into other tunes and maybe songs with me singing (gasp)
anyway it is very nearly ready for uploading , im just in the finale
stages of filtering & ordering of the tracks and as soon as I complete
them they will be up on the site. i also have a real cool creative
designer who is re jigging the art work for trinity of sound cd cover
and is working on the fingerfall artwork so if you are in buffalo USA
this coming (MAY 16th and 17th) then you could purchase the cd at the
Christian Musician Summit, Chapel @ cross point .
2 The March Podcast will be ready soon for listening so keep a look out
this next week.

Darren's superb new podcast is now online. We have just heard from the man himself that the new cd release date is pushed back to mid March.
CALLING ALL ACOUSTIC GUITAR PLAYERS
With the first master class a complete success I am raring to get on
with the next, and it is gonna be a good one, i might even bring my
loop station and give you some loops to work with. Please don't think '
Master class, im not good enough,' well it wont suit you if you are
still at beginner level but if you can play some chords and the odd
lick here or there then you will be fine, but If you want a boost for
the class you can download my finger style course for beginners (online
shop).
The classes are held in Dawson's music shop, Balloo Avenue, Bangor, Co
Down from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm and the next class is on Saturday the 24th
of February.
So why not come along and give it a go, you will get a guitar tab hand
out and can here the tune on my monthly pod cast.
